What is best estimate and how do i calculate it?
A best estimate is the best guess that you can give for an answer. It is not really done using a formula, just by comparing things in your mind.

It is really complicated. The simple calculations listed belowbased on a fixed addition from your last menstrual period or thoseused by most online calculators are terribly inaccurate. A lot ofrecent research has indicated a number of other variables toconsider. (See the page links, further down thi…s page, listed underRelated Links). This is how to calculate your due day. The due month is: your LMPmonth + 9. The due date is: your LMP date plus 7. For example, ifyour LMP was 3/10/95: 3 + 9 = 12 (Dec), 10 + 7 = 17 (17th day). Ifthe added month exceeds 12, then you subtract 12. For example, ifyou LMP was 6/20/95, the month will be (6 + 9) - 12 = 3 (March),and the date will be 20 + 7 = 27, so your due date will be 3/27/96. . There are loads of methods and calculators out there but theiraccuracy is limited. . I was always taught -3 +7, if your LMP was 10/11 you -3m= 7/11and add 7d= 7/18. . You can always use an online due date calculator. See the pagelinks, further down this page, listed under Related Links. . Maybe I don't get it but what is all the maths above? Why wouldyou do all this if someone else would do it for you? . DueDate Calculation Pregnancy, on average, lasts 267 days (38 weeks) from conception. If you positively know your conception date, you can add 267 daysto it for your due date. The following formulas can also tell yourEDD: Date of the first day of your last period + 281 days = duedate or Date of the first day of your last period + 7 days - 3 months =due date The methods here are based on the average 28-day menstrual cycle. The way I really understand it, is that its estimating by the highest place value, not a very close estimation, but still around the number.
In recent history (the last decade) most of the records for the calculation of pi to high precision have been performed by Yasumasa Kanada working with his research team at the Information Technology Center of the University of Tokyo. The current record is 1.2411 trillion digits calculated in 2002.
In what model? In a linear model, if X is the model matrix, it is the square root of all this: the residual sum of squares from the model * the diagonal values of the inverse of(X'*X).
First of all you need to clarify the types of risks and the limits which you are ready to accept for ex. per office you are ready to accept 1mln and per shop 500K. Then you need to check, is this risk already insured by your company or not, becouse in case if it is already insured part of it or con…tents you will have comulation. then you need to check survey report and clarify the point of spreading for ex. fire risk and damage that it can make, if for example you have wooden floore in 2 storey building it means that the contents loss will be 100% due to fire and fall from second to the first floor. thent in case of food stock the EML will be 100% becouse of contamination due to fire or smoke. so at the final you have approximate EML on building 60-70% stock for example 100% building value 1 mln (700K EML) stock 5mln (EML 1mln) = 6mln EML then you are calculating your acceptance limit as I said in the first sentence yuo need to have acceptance limit per risk type and lets imagine that the warehose acceptance limit in our company is 2 mln 2 000 000 (acceptance limit)/6 000 000 (EML) * 100 = 33% but it is better not to accept the full 33% take 30% to allow a margin for future increase in the sum insured (MORE)
First of all we must have a clear belief that, Depreciation must always be estimated, it can never have a fixed value. Therefore the only way is to predict it. Even when we say we are calculating it, our calculation is our prediction -which can be proved to be correct and wrong too. But even so the …calculation of depreciation itself is very important, if we don't calculate it , our non-current assets will be inflated in the balance sheet. Which means that our balance won't be accurate when the point of making financial statements is to have an accurate record. (MORE)

You always use some model (i.e. function) to fit experimental curve. If you do not know the kind of curve (linear, parabola, Gauss, etc.) you can try to fit with different functions and then compare the residual sum of squares and coefficient of determination of those fit functions. I use MagicPlot …for curve fitting, you can try to find something in MagicPlot on-line help. (MORE)

Yes, there's a calculator at the link below. It uses the circumference of the trunk at chest height to estimate the carbon weight for various types of trees. Carbon is assumed to be 50% of body mass. The calculator also estimates how much carbon dioxide that weight would represent (if the tree were …burnt, for example). There is also an Excel .exe downloadable calculator that will run on Windows machines. See the link below. (MORE)
There are several ways you could determine the capacity of a milk jug: 1: Fill the milk jug with water and then transfer the water to a graduated measuring jug 2: take a bottle of known volume such as a soda bottle. Fill the soda bottle and transfer its contents to the milk jug to get its approxi…mate capacity 3: weigh the empty milk jug and make a note of the weight. Then, fill the milk jug with water. 1 cubic cm of water weighs 1 gram. Deduct the weight of the empty jug from the weight of the full jug to give the weight of the water inside. If, for example, the water weighs approximately 1000 grams then you have a 1 litre milk jug (MORE)

There are ways to squeeze one more decimal point out, but they are usually more trouble than they are worth, since calculators are so common. Just think of the square root of 50 as "seven point something". (MORE)

Whencalculating your quarterly or yearly tax liability, always makesure you are thinking about your business's whole financialpicture. A lot of small company proprietors get swept up within themyth that 'whatever my company bank account balances is on December31st is exactly what I will need to pay …tax on. As the December 31bank account balance could be a very helpful figure when carryingout a fast income calculation, it is commonly very misleading whenidentifying the profitability of the business. Products like havingto pay lower debt, borrowing money, transporting charge cardbalances, having to pay personal expenses, paying back investorloans, disbursing profits towards the proprietors, etc. will allimpact how much cash is incorporated in the bank in the finish ofthe season, and can don't have any effect on the companyprofit.
